Relate to Life

Life is beautiful and it’s the most important thing to every mortal. Nothing in this world makes any meaning or matter if there is no life. The dead cannot complain or murmur so where there is life, there is hope. To live is to hope and to hope is to live.

Life brings with it hope for opportunities that will activate our faith for a tomorrow. Life is simple but yet complex, filled with ups and downs, forward and backward movements. It presents us with choices; the choice to take a left or to take a right is solely dependent on us which can be influenced by our circumstances.

The choice to speak up or to keep silent, the choice to be right or be wrong, do good or do evil, move up or move down, the choice to give or to withhold, speak the truth or speak a lie, to love or to hate, to ignore or to acknowledge, to live or to perish…so yes we have choices in life and we are accountable for our choices.

Life as a gift

Life is a precious gift from God/universe and just like most precious gifts; it is expected of you to appreciate it and reverence the giver. Unlike human gifting, this particular gift comes with terms and conditions and that is why finding your purpose in life is relevant.

You wake up every day feeling thankful and hoping for the best. Where hope is in place, a better tomorrow is certain. Appreciate the people around you whom God has used in one way or the other to bless your life no matter how little they contribute to your life.

Life is a gift but you do not have power over it and you cannot make a claim on it; it is a gift but the universe can recall it at any time. It is specially wrapped with your name on it but comes with an expiry date. It is gifted to you but with an expectation from the giver, so it is your duty to find out what this expectation is as this will enable you make the most it before it expires. Every day you live, means there is an expectation still pending.

Live and be happy

Live life and do not let life live you. For every time you wake up, there is always a reason why the universe has allowed you to. Reassure yourself that whatever it is you are going through at the moment will always pass; as life has an expiry date so does every problem.   Someone said that ‘suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem’ and I totally agree.

If you hold on to hope, you will someday refer to that problem in a past tense. Do not give up. A life of gratitude is a life of happiness. It helps for a smoother journey through life. Thank the universe for the little things and it will always take care of the bigger things for you. Sometimes the hurdles we encounter in life make us stronger and give us a much impactful storyline for others who would one day look up to us.

Try and find happiness in little things of life and it will attract to you things worth celebrating. To be happy is not given, it’s a choice you make and it comes from within you. Every day, we can encounter so many things that will attempt to take joy away from us but every day, we can also make that decision to be happy regardless of. Don’t forget, lemonades are made with lemons.

Life has an expiry date so live it wisely. Always remember you’ve only got this one shot at it; you don’t need bitterness, envy, backbiting, hatred, anger, fear to ruin it for you. Life is full of lessons; ensure to learn as you go.
