Aston Villa have signed midfielder Josh Onomah on a season-long loan from Tottenham.
The 20-year-old has also signed a new contract with Tottenham until 2021.
Onomah is eligible for this weekend’s Sky Bet Championship opener against Hull.
Mauricio Pochettino rates Onomah, who has trained with the Tottenham squad for the past three years, but not enough to guarantee the player would get the minutes he needs this season.
Josh Onomah will be exposed to high levels of competition and pressure, while he will play alongside seasoned professionals.
