Sutton: Conte Could Leave Chelsea If He Does Not Get His Way

One time Chelsea striker, Chris Sutton has warned the club Antonio Conte could leave if his desires are not met.

Conte led Chelsea to the premier league title in his first season and was praised for his tactical and man-management skills.

He has however warned that Chelsea must build on that success. And Sutton does not think the new additions at Chelsea will do.

The former Blues striker told the Daily Mail: “Conte has said that he wants to avoid a ‘Mourinho season’.

“I can see him walking.

“He walked from Juventus when he didn’t get his own way.

“If the club are selling [Nemanja] Matic from under his nose then it’s not looking great.”
