Super Eagles: Team B to make road trip to Republic of Benin for 2018 CHAN qualifiers

For the trip to the Republic of Benin for the first leg, the Super Eagles will have to make a road trip from Lagos.

The Super Eagles Team B will travel by road to the Republic of Benin for their 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.

The team of Super Eagles home-based players will face the Republic of Benin on Sunday, August 13 with the second leg told to hold in Kano a week later.

For the trip to the Republic of Benin for the first leg, the Super Eagles will have to make a road trip from Lagos.

 

They will leave their training base in Kano to Lagos by air before the road trip Cotonou on Friday.

The Republic of Benin shares boundary with Lagos and is just a short road trip away from the city.

 

Winner of the two leg tie will qualify for the 2018 CHAN in Kenya.

Nigeria have only qualified for two editions of CHAN, finishing third in South Africa 2014 and crashing out in the first round in Rwanda 2016.
