Manchester City: Club unveils new dressing rooms at Etihad Stadium

Pep Guardiola was consulted on the concept of the dressing room before renovation started.

Manchester City have completed works on their new dressing room at the Etihad ahead of the season.

The club unveiled photos of the new state-of-of-the-art dressing room which will be used for the first time when Manchester City host Everton in the Premier League on Monday, August 14.

The circular dressing room is similar to the design which was used at Manchester City’s expensive training complex.

The first team dressing room was completely renovated with the addition of a hospitality suite called Tunnel Club.

 

The latest in the preparation and recovery tools were also installed. A new hydrotherapy pool is under construction for players to use immediately after games.

The away and officials dressing room were also renovated. These renovations were made to keep City in the standards of other top European clubs.

It was in 2011 that Manchester City last made changes to the dressing rooms.

These changes were part of the requests made by Guardiola before he joined Manchester City from Bayern Munich.
