According to a Facebook user, Chukwuka Gabros who described the late Uchenna as a very close friend, she was one of the first persons who was shot as she sat close to the front pews where the attacker started shooting from.

Other friends of the deceased have not been able to come to terms with her sudden death and have been praying for the repose of her soul on the walls while also praying that the killers would be caught and made to face the full wrath of the law.

"Really short of words. I pray their souls rest in peace especially #Uchenna my own person. I weep so much for my people. Farewell, my friend. May your killers never go unpunished."
