Beverage: This cold brew keg might make the best coffee you've ever had

​Say good morning to the Nitro King on Kickstarter.

​You probably got up this morning, took your workout outside—whether it's a quick and simple full-body move or a track day—and, if you're like us, downed an iced coffee or two. (Hey, dude, it's hot out there.)

Making your own cold brew at home has gotten way easier, too, thanks to tons of new products and tips like these.

Now you can kick your coffee game up a few jittery levels with a new product called the Nitro King from the Brewing Company, which is now up on Kickstarter.

Maybe you already figured this one out, but the Nitro King is a coffee shop-looking piece of equipment that gives you nitro coffee without any fancy machine tech.

We're fans of the smooth-tasting brew (we'll see you tomorrow morning, Whole Foods coffee line), which looks almost like a Guinness or maybe even part of a root beer float or, well, not like your average iced coffee.

Of course not everyone's going to love the taste. But if you're spending your cash every morning to get it, the Nitro King looks like something you and your kitchen counter should think about buying.

It looks easy enough to use. Once you make your cold brewed iced coffee, you add the liquid into the Nitro King and secure the top and the nitrogen cartridge (the company says you'll have to purchase your own on Amazon), then lightly shake the entire keg and you have your nitro.

Who knows if it even works or tastes good, but we're crossing our fingers.

If you back it on Kickstarter for $155, the campaign says you should get one in October.

And we'll keep working on perfecting our cold brew until it arrives.
