Anthony Joshua: Boxer never had an affair with Amir Khan's wife

A week after accusing Anthony Joshua of having an affair with his wife, Khan apologised to the Nigerian-born boxer.

British boxer Amir Khan has apologised to Anthony Joshua after accusing the Nigerian born boxer of sleeping with his wife Faryal Makhdoom.

Khan took to Twitter in an ugly rant on Friday, August 4 to accuse Joshua of having an affair with his wife, also announcing that his marriage to his wife is over.

He further shared a supposed screenshot of a Snapchat conversation between Joshua and his wife.

 

Joshua denied the accusation sharing a short video clip of Shaggy’s song ‘It wasn’t me’.

The English boxer a week later has apologised to Joshua claiming that there was no truth to the allegation.

 

Faryal finally broke her silence on the issue taking to Twitter to dismiss the allegations.

 

It was his wife’s post that Khan retweeted and apologised to Joshua. “Glad all is cleared up and all lies. I got angry like any man would. No truth to it. Good to know. All the best.”

Joshua replied writing "Apology accepted."

 

Faryal had earlier on Friday, August 11 cleared up the accusation revealing that the Snapchat conversation between her and Joshua which was sent to Khan was fake.

“I've been quiet for some time... because I myself didn't know what's going on. Everything that's going on is just not right and a complete misunderstanding,” Faryal said on Twitter.

“The screenshots sent to Amir were "fake" and Amir thought Joshua and I were speaking... when we have never even met. Anger took the better of him and he tweeted away without thinking there was absolutely NO truth to it.

“It's all cleared up with both teams now and again, there was NOTHING like that going on. Apologies for all this nonsense. Let's get on with life now.”
