Adeboye: RCCG G.O ordains 10, 466 clerics at 65th Annual Convention

Adeboye has anointed 2,236 Assistant Pastors, 8,230 deacons and deaconesses.

Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye may have ordained his highest number of clerics yet.

According to Premium Times, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has anointed 2,236 Assistant Pastors.

 

He also ordained 8,230 deacons and deaconesses, making it a total of 10, 466 clerics!

 

Due to the large number, they could only go to the altar in batches. Afterward the simple ordination ceremony, involving opening remarks and prayers, they were officially presented by the National Overseer of RCCG, Joseph Obayemi.

He congratulated the newly ordained clerics before calling elders and leaders of the church to bless them.

This was accompanied by a message of Joel Olaiya, who urged them to allow God use them. His message was tagged: ‘The God of all Flesh.’

 

The ordination was at the 65th Annual Convention which is currently holding at the Redemption Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. It kicked off on August 7, 2017, with the theme: ‘Halleluyah.’

 

It ends on Sunday, August 13, 3017.

Meanwhile, Adeboye has urged attendees to expect physical and spiritual healing at the convention, This Day Live reports.

According to him, the theme is proof that “there will be intense praise of God, and diligent prayers.”

 

The RCCG G.O added that “the heavy presence of the One who inhabits praises will so saturate everywhere on the Camp ground; there will be physical and spiritual healing for all who participate. Every one of us will experience a touch of revival in the mighty name of Jesus.”

Attendees can look forward to four-day Ministers Conference, performances from the National Teenagers and Children Orchestra, ministrations from Men and women of God including Adeboye himself.
